Langojanan Ki Inggoy, Soon to be Known

Whenever I hear the word “Camguin Island” first thing comes in my mind is “The Paradise Island”, small yet terrible in terms of natural beauties, maybe because the nature have fallen in love with Camiguin so much that is full of wonders of nature, some of evidences are the tourist attractions that are very well- known and some are newly discovered and yet to be known like the “Langojanan Ki Inggoy”.
Langojanan Ki Inggoy is a swimming pool inhabitants used to dubbed as “Tubod Spring”, located at Sitio Tubod, boundary of Bonbon and Alangilan, Sagay. Langojanan Ki Inggoy is the vernacular word of Kamiguinon or what we call Kinamiguin which means “The Swimming Pool of Inggoy”. Inggoy, on the other hand, is the late Mayor of the Municipality of Sagay and in which its name is derived. It is a walking distance of about 150 meters from National High Way uphill. As you enter the entrance of the said pool, there is a little river that welcomes you with its cold water that tickles your foot with its affordable entrance fee for only 20.00 pesos per person. There are two pools- small one which is shallow for the kids and who doesn’t know how to swim well while the other one is bigger and deeper that swimmers would enjoy. Moreover as you visit the place you will feel the ambiance of nature, the singing of birds, the dancing of tress and the touches of the wind beneath your skin that make yourself feel relaxed and stress free. It is natural cold spring water, surrounded by many tresses like our very own lanzones, coconut trees and etc. For the better accommodation of the visitors there are cottages, comport and shower rooms.
I know soon Langojanan Ki Inggoy would definitely be the the main attraction in Camiguin Island which in turn would be the main source of income in Municipality of Sagay, plus the hospitality and friendly attitudes of Camiguinon toward the strangers/ tourists.
