All I Can Say - LOVE
“Love”, is the word in which teenager excites. Thinking that they already knew all, but why people intend to have broken relationships, specially the population of unwanted pregnancies are increasing nowadays? Are they really smart enough about this called “LOVE”, or they don’t know what the real essence of what love is?
According to the internet website-
Google, love means- variety of different feelings, states, and attitudes that
ranges from interpersonal affection to pleasure. It can refer to an emotion of
a strong attraction and personal attachment. It can also be a virtue
representing human kindness, compassion, and affection—"the unselfish
loyal and benevolent concern for the good of another". It may also describe
compassionate and affectionate actions towards other humans. Moreover,
according to the Holy Bible - “Love is patient, love is kind. It does not
boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self- seeking, it is not
easily angered, and it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil
but rejoices in truth, it always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always
and preserves. Love never fails”-1Corinthians 13:4-8(NIV).
This verses point out the true
meaning of Love and emphasizes love seeking for the good of others. We always
hear this saying “God is Love. Love God”, through this we find it in the person
of Jesus Christ and all he has done to us. In this generation, in searching our
partner we are looking for physical appearance, popularity or wealth but not in
a way that we are looking for a partner that indicate this description above.
If we don’t look the qualities that God wants. This maybe the reason of
scenario’s that we are facing today. “Love is not exclusively based on how we
just feel, certainly our emotions are involved but they cannot be our only
criteria for love, true devotion will always lead to action.
Sex
is not love! Many people think that sex is the way of expressing our love to
someone but this is all lie! Sex is God given-gift for the couple whom are
blessed by the church. So as the said relationship and marriage is not a game!
It is a commitment to your partner and to God. You should pray and think many times
before you act and decide. In this relationship you must find the love that God
had told us and He must be the center of it, because “God is Love”.
