Culmination and Laud of Jobs Well Done

October 17, 2014, was a night of refinement and elegance in the first- ever Red Carpet Premiere Night- William Shakespeare's Midsummer Nights Dream and Sophocles' Oedipus Rex, held at FCC McAuley Stage.

A night to experience of what it feels to be a celebrity, Humanities Class I of Mr. Junos B. Llanto (adviser), presents an event that no one had expected as his class portrays the masterpieces of the  two most important Greek (Sophocles) and English (Shakespeare) writers and classical plays of the Early times, thus, each courses (BSBA II and BEED I) showcases their exemplary acting skills.

This was made in the realization of how culture gone a long way in these evolution of the Humanities in which in turn demands so much for us. To make it more intriguing- in a way that listeners would truly catch up the message, our very own vernacular- Cebuano language, was used in which adds flavor to the presentation and give life to the story.

Glamorous!, as students of FCC who was able to watch, described the whole event. It was a night of elevated refinement and elegance, with stunning young actors and actresses wearing their best suits and gowns. A night of excitement, as college faculty, distinguished guests, benefactors, and sponsors and visitors headed by FCC and CSMPHS' Religious Sisters of Mercy were eager to watch the outcome of their long, arduous, and meticulous preparation.

With a good outcome of  these first ever event in  FCC's history, heads were eager looking forward for more in the upcoming years. Kudos to Mr. Junos B. Llanto!
