October, 19 2014 was the grand opening of this year’s 35th
Camiguin Lanzoned Festival held at Camiguin Sports Complex ( Grandstand).
In the morning, the music and kabod showdown had done with satisfaction
and great performances by contingent no.1 to no. 8.
All contingent showed their best and Mahinognons was declared champion
for the Music Showdown, 2nd place goes to contingent no. 4
represented by Guinsiliban National Highshool got the 2nd place and
Fatima College of Camiguin was crowned as the 1st place for the said
category.
The parade was done in the afternoon of the same day and the Grand
Opening Ceremonies was officially opened by Governor Jordin Jesus M. Romualdo. Then,
to be followed with the performance of best year champion of Tablau competition
presented by the team up of Columbia Saint Michael Parish High School and Mahinog
National High School selected students.
The first day of this yearly celebration ended with contentment and
satisfied audience. In fact, the major event had not yet done and more breathtaking
moves may be seen several days from now.
